Don't worry about how fast you are progressing as everyone gets better at different speeds.

As for improving, learn full PLL if you haven't already, watch J perms advanced cross and F2l, and if you want to, Xcross and F2L look ahead videos, which can be found on jperm.net.

for now just spam f2l until you get total muscle memory. If you already have muscle memory, I suggest focusing on efficiency

Like a lot of people here said its not really about how fast you improve. My times are similar, except f2l is 10 and pll is 2-3

Agreed, Cubing is about enjoyability but everyone wants to get fast. So practise much and effective. Try to practise certain parts of the Cube like
F2L. Good luck in future

what do you average? What method do you use?

What do you average? If you average slower than 20 seconds then you probably don't need a critique, you just need to practice more/learn from other people's example solves/watch YT videos about how to get faster etc

You definitely don't need a solve critique. Just keep practicing and watch videos like J Perm's "How to get Sub-30"

I've never gotten anyone to critique my solves in my life and I average sub-12 seconds

you dont need critiques. I was stuck at sub 40 and the thing that helped me get sub 30 is by practicing my f2l and making sure it is good.

Well if you want to get faster the first thing you need to do is learn full PLL to reduce yourself to 3LLL. I recommend learning the A,U,T,Y,J,L,H, and Z perms first. Then learn the rest since you can use Y,T,A,J, and L to reduce any of the other cases into a U perm. After that start learning the 2 edges oriented OLLs then the rest. But after that you can mostly just do solves and practice a lot and you’ll get sub-20 as you get better at your LL algs and improve your F2L.
