Hi guys,
since we are trying to start a regional organization in Slovakia, I did a little website for us, which you can find at https://speedcubingslovakia.sk. The website right now has mainly weekly online competitions (with plans to add automated Announcements about competitions in Slovakia and possibly selling T-shirts). We have already held 16 weekly competitions (with around 10-30 people each week (total 65 registered users), mostly from Slovakia, but also some other countries) and the website is finally ready to be used by some more people.
There are of course all 17 official events (for FMC you enter your solution instead of time and Multi-Blind has it's own input system), but starting this week I added 16 non-WCA events, such FTO, Master Pyraminx, Mini Guildford, 2-4 Relay, 2BLD, ... (basically all but 2 from Speedsolving.com, but if you would like to see any other event there, just write it here and I will try to add it).
Each competition has an Overall category, which is pretty self-explanatory, but works using Kinch ranks, not with points (so even when you are first by a lot, every hundred counts
).
There is also a automatic system for flagging suspiscous results, which are then temporarily hidden from all results lists (competition, overall rankings and even from personal profile) until review is done by someone with admin role, who can either approve or deny them and also any other current or past result can also be retrospecitvely denied (or approved).
I think the website is pretty neat to use, everyone who has been using it in the past few weeks has only said positive things about it (of course there were bugs
, but in general they liked it) and if you like online competitions, I am positive you will also love to use this website
It is also very fast, since the backend is written in Golang
and if you checkout the website, you will find a link, at the bottom of the page, to a Github repo with all the code open-sourced
If (weekly) online comps are not for you, then feel free to continue scrolling, but if you happen to check it out, I will be happy to receive any feedback either here or at any of the contacts listed on the website
Competition 17 with all the new events has already started, so hopefully see you there
