(Homemade) YLM M vs. MF3RS2 M

Hello! I am quite new to this forum. I need a bit of help.

I just fixed my MF3RS2's stripped core using string, so I am having a confusion whether I should magnetize my MF3RS2 or spend a little extra money for the YLM and magnetize the YLM instead. I mean the MF3RS2 is hella good, but the stripped core breaks my confidence for magnetizing that cube (The fix doesn't fix my confidence). Please give me your opinions, thanks!!

P.s. a video tutorial about magnetizing cubes would be nice too

I couldn't find one. I am unable to use thecubicle.us, so I am forced to use the local online store in my country. I tried to find an MF3RS2 core but have failed to do so.
