Hi, I am Talon2461, been speed cubing for a while now (not sure exactly how long). Always been interested in cubing and now i think i've become rather experienced. Here are some facts that you might like to know

Currently my average is sub 20
I used the Fridrich method solve the cube (F2L, OLL, PLL)
I currently use the cube F-II as i find it is really smooth
I have learnt all PLL's and am currently working on OLL's (38/57)

Hopefully i could meet some pretty cool people here :tu

Thanks ChrissyD for the welcome. I haven't seen a lot of UK cubers around Youtube and in competitions and stuff Hopefully there will be more soon. I didn't think my average was that fast, Mostly the cross is the hardest part for me. I also hope the community will help me, it seems like a nice place here

Hi, and welcome! I'm a UK cuber too! Too bad we don't have many competitions (yes, i know I missed guildford)...
I would most certainly go to the next competition here... (nudge nudge mum and dad)
Im on YouTube, we might wanna analyse each others' videos and stuff... Fun!

Really? Hope I can go... It's a bit of a drive but it's alright isn't it? (again, hope my parents agree)
Edit: oh no. Bristol. That's very far from London... Fingers crossed...

HI 5BLD, yeah there was a competition in Guildford but i couldn't get transportation there and back. If there is a competition in Bristol in november i will certainly go. Hopefully my average goes down to 15 or so :). I just watched some of your videos and they look much faster than mine :O. I hope to get some videos up but i need a tripod, can anyone recommend one?

Competition: I could, but my parents said it's too far although it's an hour train from here. And we even went up to Scotland for holiday last week... Weird.
Doesn't look that I can go... Just gotta keep hoping I guess...

Tripod: I use boxes and a random piece of Lego...

Hmm boxes and lego. I might try that. I see that you use Roux method, i had a look at it a while back and it seems complicated but fast :O. I will try to get a video up sooner or later with a sub 20 average of 5
