Hello everyone! I'm Rolando, 35, and i live in Quilpué, Chile. I'm electrician and I'm working doing maintenance at a university campus in Viña del Mar.
My first time with a cube was around 30 years ago, i remember taking the pieces apart and losing them, then I started to cry.
Three years ago, I hurt my left elbow, thus I was granted with a 15-day sick leave at home. These days I got quite bored, and suddenly I got a flashback of the cube in my hands, and I decided to buy one and give it a try.
Hopefully, I could use my both hands despite my injury, and researching on Internet, soon I was able to solve it for the first time. That smile in my face was fabulous, haha.
A week after that, I memorized a beginner's method to solve the cube, and two weeks later, I could solve it in 10 minutes.
I would like to be a speedsolver, but my free time is very limited. Anyway, I love to teach things I know to others, and I guided several people to do the solving for their first time -and enjoyed watching their smiles in front of the solved cube.
Today, I'm learning CFOP, still doing 2-look OLL, memorized half of PLL algs, averaging one minute in my DaYan 4 cube. I'm learning Roux method too, and trying to learn BLD solving.
I have a Square-1 -but I'm still memorizing the algs- and a 2x2.
I hope to find a nice community here and to contribute and help others. If you are getting trouble with Spanish text/user, surely I could help!

Best regards,
Rolando.
