[Member Intro] Hello from Canada!

Hi, I am David and I am 22 years old and I started cubing 1 day less than 11 months ago (yes I started cubing quite late D: ) ! I am currently sub 12.5 on 3x3 and this is the only event I mainly grind on. I also do 2x2 and pyra but my time aren't great (sub 7 on 2x2 and average around 12 seconds on pyra). Looking forward for the time here!

Welcome! 3x3 is a good event! What cube do you use?

Welcome, averaging 12 in less than a year is really good for 3x3, you can work on some of the other events if you want to improve on those too

Yea, 12 seconds in 1 year is good, I cube for 2 years and average 13-12 seconds, but that is also because I main skewb where I average sub 4 seconds

My main cube is GAN 12 Maglev UV, for 2x2 GAN 251 Pro, for Prya I use Weilong Pyra

I have competed 6 competitions already, but my PR Average is still 14.51 due to bad nerves (achieved it at my third comp when I just reached sub 15 ao100 and tied it at my 4th comp when I reached sub 14). I care about 3x3 too much which I just choke solves

I am going to Ontario Championship so I am hoping I can beat my PR average o.o

It’s the Speedsolving.com Discord. It’s unofficial, so it’s not run by any of the regular mods. From what I can tell they just talk about happenings on the website and stuff like that
