I'm Dan. My first solve unexpectedly happened in a hospital ER last summer (2017). I was instantly hooked. The first solve is just what's needed to get hooked. I now own a 2x2, a 3x3s, a 4x4, a 5x5, a mirror cube and a fisher cube. 2 of my kids (5yo and 12yo) developed an interest for cubing since then and I love helping them getting better! The younger one is best at scrambling them. In fact, I created a cheat [sheet] site for all my "family" needs which is optimized for all screen sizes from older iPods, to my retina Macbook Pro or to our 29inch desktop monitor. The main goal was to efficiently fit as many algs as possible in one screen so that we can get rid of messy paper cheat sheets around the house! [http://cubingcheatsheet.com] I like following the r/Cubers sub-reddit and everything related to cube puzzles really. This SpeedSolving forum and its wiki section are amazing resources, thanks to everyone for sharing on it!
See you around
Cheers!
