Hi, I'm new here and pretty new to cubing. I got it on my birthday (30th Oct) and have been practicing quite a bit since then, my best average of 12 is around 50 sec, and best time is 37 sec (pretty lucky).

I'm using Fridrich method, but haven't learnt all the OLL's yet (only know about 5 of them so hardly any), but did manage to remember all the PLL's.

My present goal is to average under 30 secs, just need more practice I guess.

Thanks for sharing all you information.

Cheers, Boz

Congrats on the rapid progress.

I am also aiming for that sub 30 average and have been at it for 10 months.

Starting to memo all PLLs. Maybe we'll break the barrier around the same time!

Good luck.

Hi, your progress is about the same as mine was, I'm just over 3 months into it and I average between 35 and 40 seconds. I know 2-look OLL and full PLL, a couple of F2L tricks too.

Next for me is 'dot' OLLs and to improve my F2L. It seems like a real struggle getting from 40 to 30, but I sometimes see good improvement in my f2l look ahead.

keep at it and practice.

I'm cubing already 4 weeks using Friedrich method.
(F2L with 2 look OLL and almost full PLL)

My progress in those 4 weeks was:
1:30 -> 1:10 -> 50s -> 35s

I also got some sub 30 solves, and almost a sub-25.
I'm almost done with PLLs too. I'll learn full OLL soon too.

I aim sub-25 average, but for the meanwhile sub-30.
Practice enough, and you'll see results fast.

Welcome to the forum.

BTW. I gotta improve my cross. It's like 6 seconds.

Nadav.
