So, I've been fiddling with scrambling with only half turns, then solving with only half turns. I have a method that is by no means efficient, but it generally gets it done. In a nutshell, I solve two opposite layers, edge permutation on one doesn't matter, then by using (R2 U2)x3, I get it to a point where I have an h-perm case on one side, and a 3-cycle of edges in the E slice. Then I do (R2 U2)x3 twice in two different places to solve the h-perm and the 3-cycle. So I was wondering if anyone else had messed with this, and if anyone had developed better methods.
