Cubing update time.
I may have mentioned this in passing once or twice on the forums (never in this thread), but I'm switching to ZB for 3x3. I think it will make solving at a high level a lot easier for me, and will provide provide a significant advantage for me in my road to NAR. I'm hoping to switch by worlds in July.
I have already learned the U set of ZBLL. I'm averaging around 3 seconds for it right now (recognition and execution total), which isn't quite good enough, but I will continue to practice it a lot. I'm currently learning the T cases, at around a pace of 6 per day. So far I've learned 18 cases, hopefully I can finish it in the next 2 weeks. I want to finish both T and L in the next 5-6 weeks, so that I can go into my next comp (January 12) equipped with full TUL ZBLL. After that, I will work on learning and mastering H and Pi by March, after which I will start to learn full ZBLS. I don't plan on learning the Sune and AntiSune cases until after worlds, as I think they'll take me the longest to master.
I'm also working on cross + 2 for 3x3, and I hope to become proficient in it by next comp, since I think it will help push me to finally sub 7. I'm also practicing a lot of 4x4, and I've been focusing on improving my fluidity and edge efficiency. Definitely hoping to push to sub 30 soon.
