Hi everybody, my name is Gavin and I've been cubing for something like 10 years, off and on. I'm from the Midwest and haven't attended any comps, but I'd love to change that. I'm excited to join the forum and the community here since I've gotten back into serious speedsolving :)

Right now I solve 3x3 (w/ CFOP) exclusively, but I've tried a few different puzzles over the years. I'd like to start building a real collection when I move into my own place soon. Throughout 2024, I didn't take cubing super seriously and was averaging 17-18 seconds. I've more recently been achieving sub-16 AO100s which has been really exciting for me! My goals at the moment are to learn full OLL, fix some lingering issues in F2L (EO recognition...) and add first pair prediction to my inspection.

Outside of cubing, I love gaming in VR and on Switch, since PCs are out of my budget. I'm a big fan of Inscryption, Undertale+Deltarune, Outer Wilds, RDR1 and the Portal series. I also enjoy origami and papercraft and really anything paper-art-related. I spent the last two summers as a camp counselor, and I'm working towards a DSP position at an organization that hosts group homes for disabled adults. It'll be my first job job, and I'm looking forward to it a ton.

That's me!
