Guys I'm finally getting faster at 3x3, after not having a lot of improvement for so long. I brought my ao5 down to 7.83 last night. I also managed to get my ao1000 to 10.09, so I'm super close to being sub-10 globally.
I think what's been really helpful is actually drilling cross+1, and limiting my inspection to dual color neutrality with white/yellow. That way, I'm not panicking to find a good cross on all colors and instead only focus on two for right now. I've also done a bunch of slow solving to work on habits and whatnot.
is 7.83 your PB? also, how do you tell if you are sub-10 globally?

Amazing job on sub 8 ao5, you got it before me, soon™. How lucky were the solves?

the solves were okay. I'll post scrambles here

yeah 7.83 is my pb. also the best way to tell if you're sub-10 (for me at least) is if most of your sessions averages are mainly under 10 a majority of the time. Another way is to probably do comp sims to make sure you are comfortable solving in a loud enviroment.

so here's the ao5 times and scrambles

oh, ok then i already know i am sub-10 globally (i have a 9.07 ao5 in competition dont mean to flex or anything)

I decided to do an ao25 for each side event yesterday to decide what events I should work on in that group.

Judging by everything, I’m very inconsistent in every event. So what I’ll be doing is working on being consistent with all my solves and be sure that I’m doing the right things for my skill level, and making sure to drill anything that I need working on.

Here’s what I main for each event:
Clock: Qiyi
Mega: Dayan Pro Large
Pyra: GAN Standard
Skewb: GAN Standard
Square-1: MGC.
