I have a hard time keeping motivated to speed cube. I mean, I am signed up for a competition in the Tri-Cities, but even that is not enough for me. I just don't have really good hardware, and I don't have the funding to get new cubes+lube.

I have a hard time keeping motivated to speed cube. I mean, I am signed up for a competition in the Tri-Cities, but even that is not enough for me. I just don't have really good hardware, and I don't have the funding to get new cubes+lube.
If you don't want to speed cube, don't do it. There are lots of other fun things to do with cubing aside from speed solving.

Also if you just don't have any motivation for cubing at all, then that isn't a bad thing, if you have other interests then you might consider focusing on those things instead. You don't want to force yourself to do something that doesn't currently interest you, that is never good.

It's not that I don't want to speed cube, I do. It's just that I don't have a lot of time. Also, my hardware is getting worse, and I don't have the money right now to replace it or make it better.

Guys... I have a Gan 13 maglev.
I am scared for myself. I never dreamt of ever owning this cube. Yet, I have it now.
Prob gonna set it up to be good, need to get used to it.
Have fun with it, it is a really good cube, and very stable, in most cases.
