Hey I just wanted to know what's wrong with my S3 that I just got. There are lines on the screen, and the screen will 80% of the time, show just black. Anybody happen to know what the problem is and how to fix it? Or how much it would be to replace it? Thanks

Take it to your local Samsung store. They should replace it.

When I did, they just did a software update, and nothing. Also, how much would it cost to replace it?

What does google say? £40-£50 on a little search on ebay.

I replaced my sons laptop screen for £40. Given the S3 is reasonably old, you may want to save your money and just buy a different phone.

If you push the point, Samsung should replace a faulty product for free. But that depends on what caused the problem and all that sort of thing.
