This is a thread for discussing the new Minecraft SMP I'm creating for SpeedSolving members. There is a discord, but since not everyone has it, announcements and discussion can also take place here. The Java Edition SMP is hosted on Hypixel, is completely vanilla, and has no major rules...

This thread is to gauge interest.

Would anyone want to join a Minecraft SMP of cubers/forumers? Likely just a chill vanilla smp, probably hosted on Hypixel as it’s by far the best free option. No major rules except keep it relatively kid friendly and don’t cheat/be a jerk. Maybe a discord for communication purposes.

I’m posting this in the Local Cubing Groups subforum so it’s on the homepage and because there are many other threads that aren’t strictly cubing based or local groups already, but I understand if it gets moved to off-topic.

Java edition, btw.

Yeah, I feel like if one was made I would be fairly active. Since you have MVP+ I don't think hosting would be a problem.

no i remember its definitely not avalible on bbedrock

It’s a different server. It may still be Hypixel, but Java players can’t play with Bedrock players. I also believe the bedrock server was shut down a while ago.

If you want to join, DM me and/or post here your IGN and whether or not you’d want a discord server for the smp. This’ll be a Java only Hypixel SMP, which has a limit of 20 players, with 10 online at once, so we probably wouldn’t want more than 10-15 players on the server. I’ll probably create the server after a couple days so we can all get started at similar times.
