[Unofficial] [Former] WB 10.56s FTO single by Dan

Having seen Cheis Choi post that he now holds the WB title @ 9.27, I have to wonder:

Does it really count as a WB if there is not documentation of it?
Chris's YT video is only of him talking about having gotten an amazing time while breakig in his new Qiyi FTO and does not provide any video footage of the solve
I know he is quite skilled and knowledgeable and fast at FTO
but
My understaning is that, as a community, we cubers generally require some reasonable form of documentation of such a feat

Perhaps in future Chris will be more vigilant about doing gis solves on cam

Firstly, it was the dayan actually that i was breaking in, not my qiyi. i have yet to recieve my qiyi

There are a couple things to comment on. Firstly, although it is heavily encouraged to film solves, it is not a mandatory requirement to have all of your pbs on cam. It is something we are heavily considering to change, maybe just for WBs or for top 10 results or something like that. But as of now, it is still built on a system of trust. The results are as good as the people submitting it. I have provided a reconstruction but you are right, other than that, there isnt much I can do to remove all the doubts from your mind that it is 100% legit, since I never recorded it.

There is also precedence, there have been WB singles in FTO in the past where it wasnt recorded and even a reconstruction couldnt be found. But ben still decided to accept them, deciding to trust the people involved rather than the further scrutinize ad infinitum.

As for the reasonableness of the time itself, I have many solves on my channel you can check out, all the way down to an 11.26. I also have many solves that are at or over 4.96 TPS that the WB was at. These individually obviously dont confirm that the record happened at any capacity, but if we are asking for proof that I have what it takes to beat the record, at least in theory, then those videos should more than suffice.

Obviously the requirements could change at a moments notice that would have made my result invalid because I didnt record it. But the point is that would have been made clear from the very beginning, through an announcement or an update to the instructions on the submission sheet, and this would have let me prepare for it beforehand on my end.

And absolutely yes, i will and am becoming more vigilant recording my solves. i wont do any solves on my cstimer session without recording them
