I didn't find that xxx-cross (I just preserved the G/O pair instead of inserting it before finishing cross) but after trying the start of your solution my continuation was was

I don't post on this forum anymore really but this scramble is the most absurd thing I've seen on 3x3 in all 10 years of solving

3 move xx-cross, if you choose the right pair to do next you can get 2 decent pairs to an okay OLL to T-perm with no AUF in between

Crazy scramble at my first competition; two move cross with a free pair, or five moves to preserve it. I didn't preserve the pair at my first, but still got a 33 compared to my 42 average.
