Do you know the models of all your cubes?

Even tho I have a small collection the other day I realized that I had a couple of cubes that I didn't know the model of, I was asking myself if it was the same for the people in the speedcubing community.

I use to buy cubes based on price and user reviews/ratings, in special big cubes or non wca so I don't know/don't remember what model most of my cubes/puzzles are neither do I rembember/know the exact day I bought them

i'm pretty confident I can name any cube in my collection. I'm pushing 200 but I guess I just have a knack for it haha. People's names however, forget about it lol

I know probably 99% of them. But I keep nearly all boxes for exactly that reason.

I know all except the ones given to me from relatives (no box no logo no anything just cube)

Haha yeah, I can totally relate. I started off casually and didn’t keep track of models either — especially for older cubes I got as gifts or from random stores. Now I try to label them or keep a note, but there are still a few mystery ones in my drawer. I think it’s pretty common unless you’re super organized from the beginning.

I started a spreadsheet for this purpose and a future collection video, but I've been too lazy to continue it. I probably should use a sticky note or something for less recognizable ones.

I remove the logo of all the cubes since I do BLD.

So I have a hard time guessing the cubes haha

How many cubes do you guys actually have? I'm pretty sure I have around 25 - mainly not-particularly-fast-or-fun-to-solve-on/strange cubes but also 8 "speed" cubes, most of those being 3x3s (cheapest Gan cubes and Rubik's Speed). I saw a JPerm video where he showed all his cubes and he has a LOT.
