DIY with centers larger than edges and corners?

Hi all
I just bought my first DIY at Puzzleproz , and I was surprised that the center cubies are very slightly larger than edges and corners (maybe 1/2 millimeter). I found that it makes a quite strange feeling compared with my previous cubes.
Do you think that it's normal, or is it a design default ?

Looks strange, I would use a file to make them smaller.

my puzzleproz diy is awesome! i think mine is like that too

The diy i purchased from one of the other online shops felt weird and I deduced it having larger centers. What I did was filed them down with the caps on and now is perfect.

My puzzleproz white diy centers are the same size, perfect from the start.

ps. I just saw your pic, yup, looked exactly like that.
