This is a very off topic thread but I just want to know other people's opinions.

anyway,

From convenience to fun, please tell which one you prefer.

If you especially own skateboard(s) and/or bike(s) please tell your opinion.

PS
I am thinking about getting a skateboard (preferably Penny Board) and I have a bike.

I think cycling is more for doing sport or as a means of transport, while skateboarding is more for fun (or as a transport only for very short journeys). So it depends on what do you want to do with it.

I love the sport of cycling very much for excercise and for fun, I've loved it ever since I got my training wheels off. On the weekends I like doing 50+ mile rides in groups or alone, it's a great sense of adventure. I used to skateboard with my friends and we'd go to the skatepark, but I was never very good at tricks. I could go down some of the ramps, but mostly liked just cruising around. A couple months ago I bought a longbaord off of Amazon and have been riding it every couple days. If you just want to cruise or go down hills, but not do any tricks then I'd recommend getting a longboard instead of a penny. I've ridden penny boards and they're still fun, definitely a lot easier to carry because they're small, but for riding long distances, long boards are much faster and easier, plus they're more stable at speed. I found a 40" drop deck longboard on Amazon called scsk8 proffessional speed drop down/drop through etc. the bearings are crap, but if you get a pair of bones reds with the board you get a really great longboard for about $70.
