SO! This is an indirect update for the development of the 3v1, but not as much as the cube as it pertains to me.

I am glad to say I have learned how to use CAD to make Speed 3x3s! As of now, I have finished making one 3x3 without any major guidance aside from a couple referrals, and am in the process of developing another, more challenging model to really test my capabilities as a speed designer.

That said, I feel it would be fun if I did this for you guys! Even though I am a beginner with CAD, I feel as if I knew this for a while now, especially working in collab on the 3v1.

I present the offer of designing peoples dream 3x3s as a side activity! For me, I've had the 3v1 as a dream cube since 2016, and now I am seeing it unfold in front of my eyes. I want to bring this joy to someone else, and not just one, but this joy to many more people.

Rules:

1: Be realistic. If you are going to ask for a anti-gravity cube made of platinum plated titanium cubies and 60 degree reverse, I'll guarantee i'll read your suggestion, laugh at said suggestion, and ignore it after laughing. I only have control over the shapes of the cubies and sending out .stl files.

2: Be descriptive. I want to make sure when I'm designing, I have a clear idea of what someone wants. Sketches would be perfect, but if you post a verbal description of the mech, I'll do my best to interpret. I will only design what you tell me to design; I can't guarantee actual performance on any level.

3: Be patient. I'm probably going to get more than one request for designs, and I would greatly prefer if I could focus on one design at a time. The more reference I have, chances are the I will get through your design faster. I am also going to have a busy school year, so cube design isn't exactly going to be my top priority.

If you want to contact me, for this purpose i'm going to use my professional gmail account, which I will DM upon request. I'll stay contacted with you as I design your cube.

I can certainly do cubie design for an Alinea revival. I *would* need to create a Spring-in-Core mechanism.

I might remove some of the plates from the centers, unless you would prefer I keep them.

I would love to see a Hellraiser themed Rubik's Cube. The Box, you solved it with the Roux method, now you must come with us.
If you mean outer stickers, I can assume you mean a sticker mod. I deal specifically with internal mechanisms. Now, If you can detail an Internal mechanism inspired by hellraiser, or even sketch it, I would greatly appreciate this!

Imagine my surprise when they already made physical Rubik's Cubes with the Lament Configuration pattern on it. Haha.

The Lament Configuration is impossible to actually make, as far as I know. Several different models were used in the movie to enable them to show the different ways the puzzle moves back and forth.

Here's a really good video on YouTube (a cgi render) that shows the two moves you see the most.

(Big Hellraiser fan here, obviously!)

Huh. I see the jist of what is happening, and I might experiment with this once I learn how to do genderal puzzle design (outside of making 3x3s). This, of course, would mean I would need to research into doing shells and rail mechanisms, which unfortunately I don't have experience in,as of writing this post.

anyway, thanks for inspiring me, and I hope to eventually learn the inner workings of non WCA design!

Alright!
I want to give everyone (who ever wants one) a sample cube called the "Craft 3."

The Craft 3 is my attempt at recreating the original smash hit cube the MoYu Weilong v1! The general internal structure is fairly identical to this cube, but the external interface is more akin to what we see on today's cubes, and due to software, I added some extra tracks to compensate for what I couldn't do (which was only the most trivial of bits.)

To whoever wants one, Send me a DM stating: I want the Craft 3, along with your e-mail address. I will e-mail you the .stl files needed to make your very own Craft 3!

I have just finished the models for it!

This Cube has no relation to any future tempest projects, and is rather here to demonstrate my capabilities as a designer. This cube can only be printed. I have no intention of mass marketing the Craft 3. Craft 3.png

Don't hesitate to ask! It will take maximum two days for a whole cube to be formulated with all the info I need!

Hey Sion, I have a good idea for a no-stalk easy cutting cube. The corner tapers so the cross section of the part near the foot is a circle. You can mod that over our existing design
