There is a competition that I might be able to go to, and it says it has dual rounds for 3x3. I have not heard of dual rounds before. Could someone explain to me how they work?

Thanks!

Gabe

Basically all competitors will advance to the second round, and your best average from the two rounds will be what places you.

Your best average will be what places you in the final (second round)?
For example, if there’s 3 rounds and the first two are dual rounds, and you get a 9.78 avg in R1 and 10.06 avg in R2, the 9.78 will be ranked among everyone else’s better avg of the two rounds, and say the top 16 of that moves to finals. Does that make sense?
