Connecting a stackmat to CCT Issues

Hey guys,

I am having an annoying problem connecting a stackmat to my computer. I have read through multiple other posts regarding this issue but none of them seem to resolve my issue.

The general problem is that once the timer is connected into the computer it becomes extremely sensitive, to the point that it senses my hands even when they are a few inches above the pads.

I have gone into the mixer menu and tried changing the levels around, that does not seem to fix the problem. Under the recording devices menu, the "line-in" device is currently activated because the timer does not register with the microphone option.

I have a weirder problem. Once i connect mine, I get this weird buzzy beeping sound that goes on at 8 to 10 beeps a second as long as the timer is on.

Mine was like that too. I just turned off the speaker, couldn't find a way to solve it =/

Mine did the same as you guys (theace and amostay2004) to fix this I mute the volume reader in the microphone options. Now it works fine.

For some reason, the mic volume thing doesn't show in my mixer

If I mute the pc sounds, I can't hear Prisma's beeps.

had the same problem.... I just mucked around with the mic settings and it worked again!!

Bump,

I'm getting the same problem as op. I unplugged the stackmat and it's still really sensitive. Never seen something like this before.
