Comparing Algs Thread

I wanted to find out if there are different Algs for OLL and PLL. So I want you to say how you originally learned it vs another way. Because I know that the Nb perm is hard for me to remember so if there's a different way to do it and I can remember than .
So for the A perms, I hold the 2x2x1 block in the right or left corner (depending whether it's a or b) than I do:
R U R' F' r U R' U' r' F R2 U' R'

I originally did the U perm as the way on the Rubik’s cube official solution guide. Now I do a really weird alg that I accidentally found did a U perm while messing with my cube. You hold the bar in front, and then look at the left side. If the corners and edge are opposites, then I do (R U R’ U) L’ U’ L U2 (R U R’ U’) U’ L’ U L
If they’re adjacent then I do the same thing, but R-> L’, L->R’, U->U’ (just do the pattern but on the left).

I couldn't do the Na perm right. I kept messing it up. And it wouldn't solve it

My first U perm was something like this: F2 U L R' F2 L' R U F2, which by modern standards is a crime against humanity.
For J perms I used to do an antisune cancelled into a Niklas: R U2 R' U' R U2 L' U R' U' L.
I also used that horrible old N perm, but without the rotation so it was even worse.
There were some other old algs I used to use, but they're either still good (T perm yay!) or I forgot them (edit: and learned new algs to replace them). I definitely used to use different G and F perms.

Yes, that is what I meant. Sorry, I never really thought about the notation for it and wasn’t really paying much attention when trying to write it down. I don’t even know how I messed it up that bad.
