I fully support having bo5 for 3BLD. Alongside, I feel 4BLD and 5BLD events are fast enough at the elite level to consider bo5 format for them as well.

What do you guys think?

I would love if 4BLD and 5BLD get 5 solves every round. Mainly because they are not held that often, and getting only 3 chances per event to get something good when they are held isn't that many.

In my opinion, ao5 could even replace mo3 in the official rankings:
- if your success rate is greater than 25%, you are more likely to get a successful ao5 than a successful mo3.
- I'm not an expert regarding comp organisation, but I reckon keeping the time limits in place will prevent that the events become more time consuming.

And of course, comps would use bo5 ranking rather than ao5, similar to how bo3 is currently used, and not mo3.

I don't do 4BLD and 5BLD(I'm learning though ), how mentally draining is it for elite solvers to do 5 attempts? I would support this for 3BLD though.

Less than a MBLD attempt, for sure

I think it's alright, as long as it is optional for the competitor. If top solvers like Stanley want another go, they can have it. Everyone can have the same chance
