china has a lot of sq-1 talents. there are at least 4 cubers who can get 13 avg as i know in china. just look for some more sq-1 comps :p

and found this seem to be the best a12.


anyway it seems that these cubers often got good lucks.

for example a 7.23 sq-1 single...

or, for another explanation, maybe they really practise too much!(i think it is the truth:))

It's easy to get good singles on Square-1 though (or much easier than in 3x3 anyway). The scrambling process isn't all that great so it's relatively common to find scrambles that a fast person can do in 8 or even 4 seconds. Fortunately these haven't popped up in competition yet :)
