Hello! How is everyone? I hope you all are doing fine. It has been a while since I have been active on this site. I decided to come back because I have had a lot happen to me.

Life wasn't the best a few months ago, mentally speaking. I used to feel burnt out and I coudn't enjoy the things I used to love. Cubing was one of them. I had unofficially "retired" from the sport (or hobby?), until a few weeks ago. I am in my freshman year of high school currently, and while I have been getting good grades in my tests, I still felt like I could be doing more in my life. I was stressed about the next 4 years ahead of me and what they behold as I wanted to be in a good university later on (I wanted to go to the Ivy League, specifically MIT). I was stressed out. That was when I found my old cube while doing some spring cleaning of my room, the QiYi Sail W. My first ever cube. It was covered in dust after being under my bed for a long time. I did my first turn on it after not touching one in a while. It felt...good. I scrambled the cube and decided to time myself solving it. I was still at Sub-20. I still enjoyed cubing. I realized later on that cubing, no matter if I was even doing the sport or not, it had become a representation of my life. I was like a scrambled cube, all over the place, but, by building the peices up one by one, my life was "solved". I decided that this year, I was going to get back at cubing again. Not only that, I'm also getting back to another personal hobby of mine; programming. I'm already working on something and it might be finished by mid-January.

With 2025 around the corner, lets start the year with a bang!

Cheers, F'prime.

I'm so glad you're back! I missed your snarky remarks (and also useful info, but that's less important.)

And although I don't want to discourage you, next year is gonna kick your ass if you don't focus. Stay strong king, make sure your crown doesn't slip.

welcome back g

the metaphor for life being like a rubiks cube is so incredibly corny but it exists for a reason
