8.0 vs 7.9 not a huge difference (his ao100 is sub 8)

The point is that a ~9s average is essentially "screwing up."
Imagine if Max got a 6.2 average in a comp and that being WR2. Yes, it's impressive, but considering that he averages mid 5 it is basically screwing up. 5.5 to 6.2 is the same as 8 is to 9

Don't be sad. This is actually astounding performance, even though Fahmi averages 7.5 at home, there's always comp nerves, and first comp in 2-3 years give worse nerves. Also, other world-class OH people VERY VERY rarely get sub-9 averages. Max gets sub-10 50-60% of the time, Patrick rarely gets sub-10 avgs. Also considering this was the only round in OH, that makes this score even better.

Fahmi's going to Surabaya Open on July 23, we'll see if he gets anything there. (also only one round of OH though)
Fahmi isn't sub8

ao100 is not global average. If the UWR page is accurate, his ao100 is 7.99, meaning he is definitely not sub-8 globally. 8.98 might be slower than his global average but it's hardly screwing up.
Its not updated. His recent ao1000 is 8.19. ao100 is around mid 7.
