Anonymous WCA Profiles?

I've found a few WCA profiles that instead of saying the first and last name read "Anonymous" I was wondering how you can get a anonymous profile?

Well sometimes you see people signed up as “Jacob” and “Hugh” with no last name.

Somewhere in the WCA privacy policy it states that if a person wishes to have their name removed from the WCA database, they can do so by contacting WCA support. This could be something to do with that.

Names can consist of any positive number of components. Single-component names aren't all that uncommon in some parts of the world.
