Kinda froze on PBL, still generally have a lot of issues with pausing before PBL when I know it's hackable with J/N perm combos. Happy to finally have an official sub 9 but this definitely had potential to be a lot better...
I thought you preferred forcing good Us? Or were you not sure if it would have been good or bad?
I don't know why I've never thought of forcing Ns when there's a flip. How often do you use it? I had a similar PBL in my ER but if I forced N/J I would have to do a 5 on D or do J-J from the back which is risky. Reconstruction in spoiler
Right now I always do straight PBL when it can be done with 2 CP algs. I'm almost never sure if I can get good U's when I do go for that (In this case I would've gotten bad U's no matter what). At the moment I'm starting to think that I should just always go for double U perm when I can regardless of good or bad since the bad U's aren't even that bad and my PBL recognition is still awful after like 8 months of practice.
As for forcing flip skips, I just do it when there's a J perm on one of the sides since in those cases it's always possible to efficiently flip skip.
