You might try the Last2 Edges from Feliks Website

It's the last 2 because the others should be solved.
For 4x4 I would also recommend Yau.

Usuallay you need only one of them (Fir first one in the PDF).
Put the 2 pairs opposite to each othe with the same colors facing you, then move one side over, flip it and move it back.

But it's hard to explain.

You should watch the Youtube Videos from JPerm or cubeskills.

I actually found 3-2-3 one of the easier techniques to learn in cubing. Spreadsheets aren’t a great way of teaching it as it doesn’t really use algs. The steps are
1. Slice out basically insert 3 edges in the opposite slice and then slice back to pair them all.
2. Insert another edge in the opposite slice and pair. Take it out and replace with another unsolved edge like the beginner method but do so in such a way that they end up in opposite slices so that they pair while slicing back.
3. Repeat step 2 again. May have to use slice/flip/slice in step 2 or 3, but for step 2 there is often a better way.

JPerm’s tutorial builds off this idea, and the thing you might be struggling with is the multitude of special cases. Such as edges getting stuck or a separate l4e where the pairs don’t interact with each other. Hopefully if you understand the foundation of this edge pairing method that will prepare you better for the special cases, as it’s overwhelming if you don’t understand the basics

That's a good summary.

The most confusing while edge pairing is if you get two edges with the same color combination.
Then you search the piece to pair when sliding back but don't find it because you have it already.
After a couple hundeds of solves I recognise it now early enough and can handle them correctly.

As always, understanding the concept and then grinding solves (slow and fast) ist the best to get into it.
