How do I do edge pairing on last layer? Every time the same thing happens to me on PLL where it’s like the picture above.
Do all of your edge pairing before doing 3x3 stage. You should (if you're using the reduction method) do centers, pair all of your edges, then do 3x3 stage. This will make it so that you don't have any issues like you have had.

Well, in J Perms Yautorial, he said to pair the Non yellow edges using the edge flip alg and in the different slices. When I do that, it doesn’t work. Sure, the non yellow edges are paired, but not the yellow edges.

The tutorial:

(emphasis mine)

4:58
"And then now what we're going to do is solve all of the rest of the edge pairs."

7:21
"You just have to solve all of the edges one by one."

He never said anything about yellow or non-yellow edges during edge pairing.

Hmmm, so that means I have to solve all edges during edge pairing in Yau?
Yes. Alternatively, in the position you posted a picture of you can also solve the edges by Rw2 D Rw' U2 Rw D' Rw' U2 Rw' or the inverse of that. That's generally considered a more advanced technique than just pairing them all up first.

How early do you detect and fix OLL parity ? Seems the standard algorithm turns corners etc.
I am using Roux BTW.
So should I orient edges after second block before CMLL to detect OLL parity ?

usually meyer users check for parity and do it before cmll, but after second block.

I currently average about 2:30 seconds on the 4x4, i use the 323 edge pairing method and take about 15 seconds to solve the cube after the reduction stage, what is some advice to be sub 1:30 on the 4x4(CFOP).
