Wow, I REALLY need to work on my pairing. Are there any advice ? tutorials?

PJK, my 4x4 locks up a lot too, and it's hard to grip, sometimes sides slide a bit if you execute an algorithm. I hate it.

The best tutorial I've seen in my opinion is actually Erik's 5x5 tutorial. At the beginning where he starts out with 4x4, that's how I edge pair.

I'll join the race too(But I know I'll lose.). When I get a cube that doesn't lock up on the outer turns.

My breakdown is:

Centers:~24
Edges:~35
3x3:~55

hey, me too :)

Centers: 16.34 (2.29 SD)
Edges: 30.05 (2.60 SD)
3x3: 32.67 (4.48 SD)
Sum: 1:19.06

best time was 63.12 (my PB :D)
"dream time" is 56.32 (12.03 + 22.54 + 21.75)
worst time was 90.99
"nightmare time" is 101.71 (19.97, 37.97, 43.77)

well, looks like my 3x3 part is terrible...edges not good too...and centers could be a little faster

Haha, Pedro, our 3x3 times are about the same on the 3x3(you're a little faster) and on the 4x4.

Your edges need the most work, in my opinion.

I'm not that bad on the 4x4...I actually did a 1:16.xx average some day...but I did just horribly past weekend at Minas Open :(

I mean, wtf?! 1:25 average?! 1:24 best single?! I even got a 1:4x!

at least I did well on the 5x5 :D

I meant 3x3 on the 4x4, haha.

I understood O.o

Ok... I finally lubed my Eastsheen 4x4. And I hate it. It's terrible. Though, I suspect I'll like it much better if I ever manage to assemble it. Gosh is this little bugger annoying.

It's annoying also in assembled state:p It's good only for slow cubing like patterns etc .... Or demonstration :D

The first time I felt it, it felt good because it fits in the hands pretty good. My Rubik's is getting pretty loose now, so it's all good.

How do the people that use the E ring get edges on the E ring when they are in the D layer? For half of the cases I can find a way to rotate it so it will be finger tricky, but the other half I have to use D turns and its all ugly...
