Hey, folks...I bought both of these bad boys at DX.

At least ONE of them is a QJ 3x3x2, if not both (the black one actually has the QJ logo on it, but the texture of both of the stickers sets are a little different). My intent is to borrow parts from each so that I have something more closely resembling an original domino cube.

How close is this a clone to the original domino? I'm taking a look at Pochman's disassembly page and I'm just wondering if the internal mechanics of the modern 3x3x2 has changed that much since then.

Thanks, bro. Here's to hoping that the mechanisms for the white and black one are the same (don't have a screwdriver here at work). Can't wait to get it home so I can get them mixed together. Even got the Cubesmith Domino stickers to go with.
