The solves were just insanely awesome 
Third cube - 3rd f2l - why not just R U2 R' U R U R'? Did you look ahead that the fourth f2l will be paired that awkward way if you do it that way? Or was it just because of the flow that you did it with a U2?

Don't be so sure. Relay times vary greatly from standard ones.
