I'm currently learning CLL

So how to do 1st layer efficiently?

Well after learning CLL i can use Anti-CLL so i can do Diagonal swap for 1st layer

i was averaging 6 with lbl and then learned Cll. (No ortega. I hate it personally) I was averaging sub 5 instantly.

1. Sub 2, but it's insanely difficult and is definitely easier with Ortega and even easier with EG.
2. Ortega, then CLL. Use CLL when you get a solved layer with Ortega, or to avoid having something like diag on D, solved on U.
3. Yes, if you want to be very fast, but not if you want to be sub 2. It definitely won't hurt sub 2, but it's by no means essential.

1. Theoretically, if you can one look (then again if you can one look why don't you learn EG) or have extremely fast reactions and tps you can be sub-4 or even sub-3.5. I used to use LBL (I sometimes still use it now when I don't know the CLL case) and I averaged around 3.5-4 seconds with it.

2. Learning CLL then Ortega would be kinda dumb imo. Ortega is suitable for sub-5, CLL is more of sub-3.5~sub-3. I personally hate Ortega because in some cases you would have to do z2 because the top is solved and the bottom isn't.

3. If you want to be world class, then yeah, you should learn some 1LLS. I'm planning to learn some of that when I learn full EG. Plus, even though 1LLS has more algs than ZBLL, the movecount is much shorter, and some of them are just TCLL and CLL. If you don't want to memorize all of it, then you should learn some subsets, like memorize the algs in where a corner is facing up, facing right, facing front, etc.

this means if u already know ZBLL , the alg can be used as CLL for 2x2

this is known alg for bar on left. I extended the idea to work for 3/4 bottom bar positions

Even when you learn new methods, you actually still use ortega if an OLL skip comes up, so PBL is still used

Well, you already learned part of EG: EG-0 or CLL. Just get more comfortable with CLL, then start learning EG-1.
