20 mag core in progress. I have printed half the core and it fits well into my wrm 21 am ordering some glue to put this all together.

This is the 20-mag upgrade we actually needed from MoYu. The 2021 wasn't really talked about much due to the release of the GAN 12, so I feel like MoYu dipped on it way early.

I also think it would be a good idea to extend each of the magnets in the edge-repelling pieces, I think it would probably be the closest to a V9/2021 mix.

the edge magnets are already suuuupppper close. it's the corners that i will be extending. then again i may try both.

not sure how you are doing the repelling edge magnets
but
when I scavenged a BC from my xtra Super RS3M V1
I discovered that
4x2mm magnets fit nearly perfectly into the cavity in the feet of the edge pieces... a drop of super glue and it was ON!
def liking my WRM'21 much better since adding BC+Edge repelling mags
also btw
the corner pieces I used came from a Maru BC kit I got from TC gor $5

Because I’m impatient as heck, I’m just assembling everything with super glue and paper to do a sort of poor man’s fiber glass lol will send pics in a bit

am going to assemble the cube now but will not extend the edge magnets. will do if the auto alignment is too lack luster.

edit: alright it's all been done. this cube feels really good. it auto aligns with a nudge past 45 deg, and it feels very snappy with low effort. i can't wait to see what i average on this cube. will post a small average on my prog thread later tonight.

Maybe you should try doing an experiment by adding double the magnets in the pieces if possible.
(Ex: 6 mags on corner, 3-4 on edge)

doesnt fit. rubs against the core. either way, i am happy with the results and dont need it any heavier

I posted the 20 mag filacore for the WRM 2021 on Thingiverse. it will publish in 24 hours. So by tomorrow this time anyone who wants to download it and print it for their own use will have full access to it. I will post the link when it publishes.

whoa, there are exactly 100 magnets in this cube. 3 per corner. 2 per edge, 40 for the core/ corresponding piece magnets, and 12 maglev rings.
