The Rubik’s Cube has been around since 1974, and it still continues to be popular today. In 1982 the first competition, the Rubik’s Cube World Championship, was head in Budapest, Hungary. After a 21 year break, competitive cubing came back into scene in 2003 with the World Championship in Toronto, Canada.
Since, the cubing scene has grown with over years from just a few people to thousands of people from all over the world. Hundreds of competitions are held every year with thousands of regular participants. It is an intriguing hobby, and we’d love for you to be a part of it.
