Felt it in New Jersey.
I got yelled at for both shaking my moms chair and pushing my dad's phone off of the table. My dad was in his room, and my mom was in the living room, which are on different floors.
If you mean the Elite, yes, my folks got me one for my birthday. If not, what are you talking about? (forgive me... havent been involved in the cubing world in a couple months)
A bit more on-topic, though... Probably a couple 2x2s and 3x3s, some pyraminxes and megaminxes, a 4x4 and a mini...
I like hot hands, but i don't really care about the temp of my main cube. On my F-2, however, I like it warmer so that the viscosity of the lube in it goes down and it gets a bit faster, but my Ultimate Lubix GuHong isn't really affected by temperature.
Odd that he did not accept the first, commercial, spelling. I have seen both used before, but first is much more common. Btw, freshcuber, I am so jealous of your avatar, alot of narwhal.
Yeah, helps a little. I'm aware of what look ahead is, that post kinda came out wrong. I meant that I can plan and optimize pairs at home, enough to fluently get through a solve, but at school i can get through a solve and have 1 or 2 pairs that I forced to be AUF than 3 moves to solve. If that...
My look ahead seems fine at home, but I can plan and optimize most pairs at school in the time it takes me to solve the previous pair. And Chris, that may be the case, subconsiously, but i dont really care about impressing anyone at school while cubing.
EDIT: fatboyxpc, I do have "yellow"...
I'm kind of confused. When i go to school, i use my F-2. It is pretty bad overall and pops about once in ten solves unles you tension it until its a brick. I scramble very thoroughly (at least i think i do), and inspect then start the timer on my watch, and solve. Usually, by times are...
Interesting! I really like this scale! Anonymous, its not meant to be that literal. I think a cool feature of this scale is that there is a correlation between this and the fact that it takes longer to get faster as your times go down, and levels are fairly close to taking the same amount of...
Welcome! Nice of you to join us! Now sit back, browse the forums, and maybe some will help your times as much as they did mine (i joined here with a 40 second average, and got down to constant 25s about one and a half months later)
Piano, trumpet, trombone, alto sax, tenor sax, barritone sax, flute, clarinet, xaphoon, guitar, and ukulele.
I think thats it. All are self taught accept for alto sax, guitar, and piano.
When I started solving at school, I would always get kids watching that say stuff like
"Wait, you're not finished! So you cant do it!" (right after oll)
than
"You are such an idiot! You got really close and then you just screwed it up!"(during pll)
than
"Oh... never mind"(after pll)
