[Help Thread] F2L Intuitive vs. Algorithm Solving

Of course you can look ahead while using intuitive. It's what everyone does. You overcome it by doing a bunch of solves and practicing. Obviously you can't look ahead with intuitive right now because you literally just started, but the more you do it, the more those intuitive moves become...

    How to be sub 20

You can do OLL and PLL sub-1 with not a single pause? So you can finish last layer in under 2 seconds, and you are asking for advice on how to get sub-20. That means your F2L is over 18 seconds? Yeah, that's what you need to work on...

    Magnetic cubes on airplane

I fly within the US at least twice a week, and bring my Gan356X with me every single time in my pocket. I just throw it in the bin with my cellphone and wallet when going through the X-Ray machine, and it's fine. Been doing this for over a year now, without a single issue.

Do people even still use Dayan cubes? // Dayan thread

I won't go through my entire cube progression, but basically the last few were: - Guhong (this cube made me really like Dayan) - ZhanChi (a better cube with less popping, due to torpedoes) - Valk 3 (this cube made me never go back to Dayan cubes) - Gans 356 X (this cube blew my mind, and I have...

[Help Thread] F2L Discussion and Help

When I was trying to get sub20, I just made sure to slow down and force myself to lookahead during every single solve. Literally dropped down to 16-18 second solves using that. The more you do it, the easier and natural it becomes. So you don't need to take time to do it, just do it within your...

    [Help Thread] Lubrication Thread

Awesome, thanks for the response. I did hear the same about not needing to touch Premium Valk 3 after receiving it from Cubicle, which is why I was surprised at this. It's not enough of a big deal for me to complain about it or anything. You're right, I should just set it up the same way I did...

    [Help Thread] Lubrication Thread

Is there a video showing how to lube and setup a Valk 3? Kind of like how CrazyBadCuber did one for the Zhanchi a long time ago? (Why doesn't he do more, actually?) I found this one, but not sure if others can back it up as being good. And I'm not going to use 3 types of lubes on it. I have...

[Help Thread] How to Get Faster using the Fridrich / CFOP Method

20 second F2L? You 100% need to practice lookahead and get better at F2L. I'd start there.

[Help Thread] How to Get Faster using the Fridrich / CFOP Method

Dude, you're gonna hear the same thing over and over again, because it's the only way. Slow down to practice lookahead and practice it until you can find pairs faster and faster. It just happens the more you do it, there is no trick to it. When timing yourself, you said you tend to go faster...
