I do F3L a bit differently than traditional K4. I do a Yau start, then fill in 3 corner edge pairs (like Dan Cohen). I then solve the rest of the F3L with Keyhole stuff.
I need to work on my ELL a bit I think.

Most Americans are probably familiar with Fantasy Sports Leagues. If you aren't, read this.
I would like to try to do something similar to Fantasy Football, except with cubing. Something along the lines of, each participant drafts 5 active speed cubers onto their team. Over the next three...
So today, I realized I could solve with a lot of methods, relatively alright, I wanted to see just how fast and consistent I could be using a different method for each solve in an average of 5. It was pretty fun.
Average: 26.48
σ = 2.56
MGLS: (22.80)
CFOP: 24.75
Petrus: 24.59
Roux: (1:09.41)...
Hey guys! I was just taking a shower, and an idea for a new method just came to me. I call it CFOP, an acronym for:
Corners
First,
Orient and
Permute.
You start out by solving the corners. Then you orient the edges. Then you permute them while preserving the orientation.
I don't have any...
Is it possible to solve the cube with one piece being moved by every turn? If you don't get what I'm saying, green front, white top, R U R2 D L U2 R' F L'. The white, green, red corner is always moving.
I got this idea when I accidentally tightened my Taiyan unevenly. I've noticed an improvement in my PLL time attacks when I use my Taiyan. Basically, my thought is that I can cube faster when my R layer is looser than my U layer, possibly because my R layer gets more control due to the way I...
Can anyone provide a way to figure the state of a shape-shifting cube that has the most surface area, without using guess & check? Let's use the Fisher's Cube as an example.
Are there set variables that people use when showing algorithms?
In this post I was trying to express to the reader to use intuitive set up moves that may change depending on the case at that part of the algorithm, but didn't do so well.
Is there a set way to do this? If not, we should...
Trading at the Minnesota Open.
I have a golden mirror blocks, broken in ES, & cash. I'm interested in a clock, GH 2x2x2, & GHII 3x3x3, I'd prefer the cubes to be new.
Round 3 - Chain 2 REVEAL!!!!!
Sorry guys, I’m not very good with commentary.
I started out with this picture:
Anthony responded with a nice description.
Peedu replied with a picture that made me laugh out loud, I just found the style funny.
MichaelP. had this description,
He mistook...
I decided to make this thread so Petrus wouldn't feel left out. Fridrich & Roux both have their own threads for people to share tips, help other users, provide links to tutorials, etc. (Waffle's Roux Tutorial & How to be sub-20) so why not Petrus? Plus this could get Petrus more users.
As...
What do you guys think? After seeing my great aunt who's partially blind, & hasn't left her bed for 5 years, my opinions have been kind of mixed up. You guys often times have insightful opinions, what do you think?
EDIT: That's assisted suicide.
I think I'm right, but I know there are a lot of intelligent people on the forums who could prove me wrong.
The last digit of Pi would have to be 0 right, because if Pi was just 3.14, you could make it 3.140, making the last digit of Pi 0, right?
I recently had an argument with a friend about...
