Yes, but try solving with say red on the bottom. If you try to rotate the cube so that you can see the orange more easily with yellow in front, the rotation of the cube stops once the yellow face is at 90 degrees. Additionally, dragging to the left will, instead of doing a Y rotation, do a Z...
This is a nice sim in a way, but it has a bias toward a certain orientation (it literally tells the user which side should be "down" or "front" etc. as well as stopping the cube at 0 and 180 degrees on one axis) and has a colour scheme that hurts my face. And my heart.
I wouldn't call it...
Average of 12: 18.75
Time List:
19.57, 15.72, 19.49, 17.31, 21.83, 18.77, 18.83, 19.04, (14.00), 21.00, (24.50), 15.95
Eh, a pretty average average. Couple good times, couple screwups. C'est la vie.
Was aiming to graduate from sub-20 first, but that thread is a little more dead, so I might start over here. I did get a 19.60 Ao100 today, which I'm pretty excited about.
That said, do not even ask how I managed this average. I started to freak out after the 5th 16 in a row, so things got a...
Round 463
19.73
20.27, (22.66), 21.07, 22.44, 20.03, 17.09+, 19.85, 21.45, 17.98, 22.29, (14.33), 14.86
So, back on the cubing scene, and frustratingly close to saying I'm sub-20. I've been really inconsistent, but I seem to be having a bit of a breakthrough. Still would like to graduate from...
I just find Terraria a game that is shallow, with too much focus on combat, and at the same time, unfriendly at the beginning, with tasks like mining being too difficult at the start, and then ridiculously easy toward the end. (Kind of like playing Minecraft with Equivalent Exchange XD)
Of course, but you can't have incomplete cubies, and fun stuff like that.
Come to think of it, I could write a beginners' tutorial for a-cube. Only problem is, I will finish it in a couple years time, and it will already be redundant. At least, that's how it turned out for the last tutorial I...
A little bit sloppy with the timer there...you should show your mouth before stopping it. :)
I got a 13.57 eat last week...unfortunately wasn't on camera. Hopefully I can get a decent video on camera sometime soon.
Suggestion - Put up a link to the WSBA page on the OP.
And, I won't quote...
Round 182
Average of 12: 19.67
1. 18.83
2. 18.91
3. 19.77
4. (16.35)
5. 23.03
6. 19.03
7. 21.76
8. 17.58
9. 18.99
10. (23.71)
11. 17.95
12. 20.83
So...finally, a sub-20 average. I'm just annoyed with myself all the way through though, because I keep coming up with terrible...
OK, so I'd just like to throw in my personal anecdotal evidence (what else is there, really?)
I think...probably last year, or a little earlier, I averaged around 22-ish with a white cross. Pretty standard.
As of now, I average around 20-21 (but gradually going over that wall to sub-20, just...
Just saying...this cube is still extremely reasonably priced, still well under a Rubik's brand. Pretty sure that it even costs less than the Zhanchi I bought (when flat white[lol] or flat black). Shipping, on the other hand, would add a bit, as v-cubes tend to do, but you can't really say that...
It would be easier to see and give you more constructive criticism if the camera angle was better. Just saying.
From what I did see - Just go a bit smoother (and SLIGHTLY slower) , making sure your eyes are constantly ahead of your fingers. Maybe this just works for me, but I find that whenever...
(16.79), 13.29, 12.68, 13.55, 11.40, (8.04), 13.38, 13.63, 16.69, 15.76, 11.93, 12.38 = AVG: 13.47
I average around somewhere between 19-21...not really sure anymore :P... Is this good? Bad? Normal?
