my rubiks 4x4 is ridiculously fast, but it "hard locks". i.e. if it is not positioned perfectly in alignment, it won't budge. i assume that sanding some of the pieces would help, but i'm not familiar with the process. can someone shed some light?

i'm using rubiks. i bought both my 4x4 and 5x5 prior to knowing about eastsheen. i suppose i should breakdown and buy a couple eastsheens.

i'm not adding any answers to this, but i have to agree. i haven't broken any pieces yet, but the center corners are a huge problem. i tend to solve slower than i could in order to make sure i don't break anything. the center edges occasionally decide to rocket across the room. no big deal...

i was recently given a 2x2 as a promo from a vendor i work with. i've ordered the normal stickers for it, but it's RIDICULOUSLY stiff. i've used the rubik's lube and 'injected' it into the center. it helped a bit but not much. bottom line: can you take these things apart?
