So... I just recieved my 5x5 ES (along with 3 3x3, 2x2 and 4x4) and I was playing with it... I tried to test how well it could skip corners... POP!
Oh great...
Took me an hour to put it back together...
I guess it's just my unluckyness... :(
Otherwise I'm very pleased with the rest...
I'm practising F2L the hard way, and I wondered if I should learn any algs for it? Currently I just do it intuative.
EDIT: Sorry for posting this in the wrong forum.. Realized it too late.
In order to sand my cube, what type of sandpaper (like.. P40, P2500 :p) should I use? Also.. Sanding would create stipes on the cube. Would this prevent it from moving fast? Should I sand away these stripes with fine sandpaper (about P120)?
Thanks ;)
Hmm.. So...
I'm kind of stuck at 1 min avgs.
I currently use this method:
Cross -> Keyhole F2L -> 2-look OLL -> 2-look PLL
and I find that F2L takes a lot of my time.. So.. My question is:
Is there a good guide to a more advanced level of F2L?
I see some sudoku-cubes and pyramixes and snakes that are very cheap. Just a dollar or two. How solid are these? Will they break the moment you start fiddling with them?
