    The Solve Critique Thread

You found the scrambles! Those were some really awesome solves to watch. Smooth turning, few pauses. I would agree that it's TPS that could be improved first, especially in the LL. Then the EOLine->F2L transition, maybe?

    [Unofficial] 22.79 OH Single

Learn pinky flicks! Or pinky pushes. Undoubtedly the biggest improvement that you can make to your OH game right now.

Need help minimizing cube rotations/improving time

Yes, you should work on your cross. Practice to use as much of the 15 second inspection time as possible. To do that, give yourself infinite inspection time to find all four edges and be able to resolve the cross without looking. Crosses should take around 7 or 8 turns, maybe more if you want to...

    The Solve Critique Thread

I can see you have some good habits forming, like solving with cross on bottom. You're even color neutral?! First thing: while doing M2, do M2', triggering with your ring and middle fingers (or your pinky), but not with your index finger. You want to split the burden of your fingertricks between...

Top 100 for OH Average is now sub 17!

So many people are so fast now! I remember when 22 was considered fast... It's kind of scary, and I want to catch up now.

[Unofficial] 18.72 OH Single + Ub PLL fingertrick video

The solve video link is broken. The inverse of the usual algorithm? I've been using this algorithm since 2007. It's helpful to know U-perm from as many angles as possible because they're the best to exploit for ridiculous singles.

    [Unofficial] Antoine Cantin - 9.41 3x3 avg12

I totally did the same. Impressed nonetheless.

Antoine Cantin's cubing site (OH algs, 2GLL and more)

Less. I like getting to see the entire LL at the same time because that connects better with how I see it while solving. When it's broken into to discontinuous sections, it's more difficult for me to recognize. The F2L also contains no useful information, so there's no reason to show it.

[Unofficial] POV OH solves (11.33 & 11.74 singles)

nice keyboard. and completely absurd TPS.

Antoine Cantin's cubing site (OH algs, 2GLL and more)

Just a week ago I had gathered 2GLL cases for U, T and H, but now I'm going to start using your L and Pi cases (after mirroring). Thank you!

Feasibility of Using ZZ as a Beginner's Method

Meh, I think ZZ is bad for beginners. I've taught probably like 50 beginners how to solve the cube (and worked as a teacher for 3 years), and beginners in general really like seeing payoffs immediately when they invest any effort. The cross, the first layer, then then the middle slice all look...

    The Solve Critique Thread

The video is a little long, so I only watched the first five solves on the stickerless. 1) Work on your cross! Solve only the cross over and over and over again. Find all four pieces during inspection, plan out every move, and execute it blindfolded. 2) Your F2L is actually quite good right...
