You realize that the midwest has had two and the Pacific NW has had none? Having two Nats within a couple states from you is a lot more awesome than you may think it is.
Having a Nats/Worlds 8 hours from where I live was the most amazing thing ever and I am not expecting anything like that...
From the looks of it, the GWR officials removed the paper from the front of the cameras before timing it. Thus I'd think this also inspects too?

I've found that my centers are sometimes inefficient when I didn't even realize it. Try watching some example solves on youtube and see if there are any tricks that you're missing. Other than that, yeah, practice.
I wouldn't say center-only solves though.
