The Angstrom setup has Gravitas, Dignitas, and DNM-37 on the pieces and Lubicle Black on the core. But if you're setting it up yourself, using only Gravitas and Dignitas (and maybe DNM-37 if you think it's too slow) would probably suffice.
I switched from CFOP to ZZ 3-4 months ago. Before that I was a devout CFOP user that was slowly improving. Unfortunately, my wave of improvement stopped once I reached sub-15. When I finally learned full OLL and PLL, I ran out of things I wanted to learn.
Then I thought of learning full COLL...
Update on this:
Not quite there yet. I currently average ~11 moves.
Shockingly reached this feat after around a month or two.
I kinda reached this since practicing ZZ made me worse at CFOP lol. But are my ZZ times similar/better than my former CFOP times? Not exactly, but the gap is only ~0.5...
I feel like this is a pretty dumb question, but is it alright to use two different silicone lubes in the same puzzle? I use weight 5, but I need to slow it down more with gravitas but I don't know if there's any negative "chemical reaction" that I don't know of that will make my puzzle feel weird.
A 15 cc bottle of DNM would be pretty excessive. You’d be usually adding only one (maybe two) drops for each puzzle, so you wouldn't be using a lot. A 10 cc bottle could already last you really long. But if you want your stock to last way longer, then sure, go for the 15 cc bottle.
You're not...
There is no cube that is "objectively" the best now. We're not in a time where only one cube is the only choice to get great times anymore. Not everyone is saying that the Gan 11 M Pro is the best cube the same way people said that the DaYan Zhanchi was the best cube back then. Like others are...
Cause the RS3M 2020 and the WRM 2020 have a very similar feel, with the WRM being heavier and a mm smaller. If two cubes feel very similar, then people would probably choose the cheaper one, which is the RS3M 2020. Plus having a cheap cube with flagship performance gives budget cubers more...
Now that I've switched from CFOP to ZZ, I now have new goals for probably the rest of the year.
-Reduce my EOCross moves to 8-9 moves
-Average sub-15 on ZZ
-Average ZZ with similar or better times than my CFOP (I'm currently faster with CFOP)
-Learn a good chunk of ZBLL
