     Favourite WCA Events (Post + Present)

     My favorite event is 3x3 with Feet but that has since been removed so now my favorite event is 3x3 with One Hand. Megaminx is pretty cool too.

     Cubers from North America

     Well, I suppose he's fastest in pyraminx, but generally when someone asks "fastest", they're referring to 3x3, in which Trever Peterson is very obviously not the fastest at 3x3 in the state anymore. Also, what the heck kinda necroposting is this?

      I'm practicing OH again... the world can return to normal (11.21 OH ZZ YT UWR3)

      I have a comp with OH coming up in about two weeks so I've started practicing OH again. Caught some very good averages on camera, but my global hasn't been improving much, which is disheartening.

      Not up to date with recent hardware, how has it changed?

      I have the MGC5, and I quite like it, but it does have strange + center pops. I'm sure everyone has preferences and the MGC is certainly viable, but all the fast solvers who average <55 seconds have told me that the Valk5 performs better.       I don't know for sure about 4x4, but what I've been told by fast big cubers is that for 5x5, the best is still the Valk5 and the best 7x7 is still the Spark. The MGC5 and MGC7 are very close behind but also wildly less expensive so they're certainly more worthwhile for any non-serious big...

      Should judges and scramblers wear gloves?

      How would gloves help with this though? Lube would still get from a dirty cube onto the gloves and back onto your cube. If the scramblers didn't have gloves on they might be able to have the foresight to wipe their hands off before scrambling the next cube, but if they've got gloves on it would...
