  Calc is pretty cool. I'm doing statistics now, but I might also do linear algebra this semester. Group theory fascinates me, but I've never formally done it. Favorite theorem? That's a tough question. I have no idea.

To a certain extent, genetics and physical disabilities play a part (like if I only had one hand, I'd never be faster at 2H than at OH. But even then, you can still get fast - world class...

16. Improving Stackmat Cube Pick-up Times?
  
  How do you guys quickly grab your cube when using a stackmat timer as opposed to keyboard? Throughout all events, I'm 1-2 seconds slower when I'm using a stackmat. I know it's never going to be as fast as starting with the cube right next to your hands or even holding it, but what sort of advice...

  So true. And not just with music - this applies to anything. I'm not naturally very good at karate - I have horrible balance, weak ankles, tight muscles, etc. because of a neurological disease (Charcot Marie Tooth). But if I just decided that I wasn't good at it, then I'd have quit a long time...

  Probably won't make it. Busy with college/scholarship search/prep stuff... Plus there's no pyraminx. Which is a horrible thing to think of. It's like this: 1: "Are you coming to River Hill?" 2: "No, are you?" 1: "Yeah, why not?" 2: "No pyraminx." 1: *goes into shock, is rushed to hospital, dies*
