Here's a new method that I thought up today that's probably totally useless!!
Here's an example solve first (from 3x3 Example Solve Thread):
Scramble: B2 D' F R U' F2 R' D B2 R2 U2 F2 R2 U R2 B2 R2 B2 F R'
(z2 y)
B F L' D' R F2 U R2 // Step 1
F' U F2 R' F' R // Step 2
U D2 R L U L' U R' //...
A New Method I just made up today:
(z2 y)
B F L' D' R F2 U R2 // Step 1
F' U F2 R' F' R // Step 2
U D2 R L U L' U R' // Step 3
U F2 L2 U2 R2 B2 R2 // Step 4
(29)
Next: R2 D R2 F2 U2 R2 U' B2 D2 R2 F2 B U' F2 U' L D F2 L R B'
B L' D' F' // This does something, I think?
D' L // I think this does something too.
U' S2 // Ok we might be getting a start now
M2 L U' B2 R2 B2 U' L2 U2 // Alright we're done with the whole cube now in 17 moves
D' F2 D f2 U' F2 U f2 // Jk I missed about 3 corners I think ok there we go solved...
Oops I accidentally quoted the last post on the previous page lol
Anyone else done that? :p
Here's another solve using this weird "Metha" method:
D R' U' M2 U L // FB (6/6)
y' D R z // 3QB (2/8)
f' U f // EOLE (3/11)
R' U' R' u' R2 F' U' // 6CO (7/18)
F' U R2 F2 U' R2 U2 y' R2 U' R2 U' R2 //...
That's an insanely lucky solve lmaooo nice :) (33 moves howwww???)
I'm going to give this weird "Metha" method a try.....
(y2 z')
U2 L R2 u R' S // FB (6/6)
u R U R E2 R' E' // 3QB (7/13)
R S R S' R' // EOLE (5/18)
B U B' R2 F' U F // 6COP (7/25)
F' U S2 U' F U S2 R2 // L5EP (5/30)

With your current rate of alg learning it's going to take more time than you have left in your entire life to learn 1LLL....
You're really never going to get there if it's just 3 algs on one day or another.
Please know I'm not trying to be rude, I just want you to consider that you have to...
Actually this is fun haha
I'm gonna try another solve- I'll put off my Anime watching/Japanese study for later haha
F2 D' B // Blocks and Pairs
U2 F2 U' F // Orient and Stuff
U' L2 R U R // Solve A Lot (and Corners stuff)
D' B2 D2 R F2 U2 F2 // 6e Edge Insertion
U' R D' // Finish Corners and...
Haha :)
I want to spend all the time I can learning and improving my Japanese rn so, sorry to disappoint you, probably not doing any more cubing, this will probably just be a one time thing.
And to disappoint you once again, but that solve was kind of just EO,DR,HTR,finish=28, not gonna lie.
The...
My first time solving a cube in months!!
B' F2 R D F // Orient stuff
D2 R F2 U' D L2 // Set up stuff
D' L' // Corners and stuff
D F2 B2 // Blocks and stuff
U' D' F2 L2 B2 D' // Basically done and stuff
F' B D2 F B L2 // Solved the cube in 28
Lol I just got 28 with like no effort, this was...
I'm sorry if this is in the wrong forum thread, but considering your goal of learning a large alg set (3915), I thought my idea is relevant and useful to your endevour, and this is quite a new thread so there are active people that can respond to my thoughts.
So recently, I have not been...
Okay!
First, carefully memorize positions really close to solved, and this makes it easy to intuitively 'set up' to one of these positions.
Here's a premade list. Apply the inverse of these sequences and see how it solves the cube!
R2 F2 R2 - R2 U' R2 - R2 U' F2 R2 - R2 U R2 U' R2 - etc. etc...
Okay, I’ll give it a shot-
u’ M u’ M’ u’ M u M // I am literally 3 moves away from a solved cube but I’m not allowed to do those 3 moves ajahjsnajsj
u’ M2 u // Everything except for 4 centers (3/11)
M2 u M u2 M // Some random fiddling with it
u M2 u M2 u M u2 M // MORE
u M2 u’ // Different 4...
You can insert your 2e2e in a different spot to get a 6-4 (!!!) giving 32 final!
@= (B2 D2 B2 D2 B2 D2) // 2e2e (6-4/32)
Solution (32): L2 F2 L F2 R' B2 D2 B2 D2 R' U2 L U2 D L D' L2 D L D' R' F B D F' B L2 D L' D R2 U'
Getting a 2e2e insertion this lucky is incredibly rare, by the way. I'm...
